FASHION DESIGN MOOD BOARDS
I grew up loving fashion and accessories and I am currently developing a fashion brand called “24/Silver Fashion.” In my spare time, I also do freelance wardrobe styling which ended up inspiring me to turn my sketches into a mood board design. These are vital creations in helping me to visualize my fashion photoshoot concepts more effectively.
This a “Water Capsule Collection” inspired by large bodies of water on maps. I wanted to place fabrics that created a water-like motion and have the fabrics feel so light in relation to evaporated water.
This mood board design is called the “Earth Capsule Collection” with inspiration from earthy colors with a mixture of hard and soft fabrics. I wanted these looks to represent all weather and have different options for different occasions. Fabrics such as leather, knits, plaid, satin, cotton, and organza.
This last look is the “Stone Capsule Collection” which is mainly comprised of active leisure tops that could be dressy or casual. The inspiration for the colors and the fabrication was to mimic the view of stones with a layered, scrunchy effect on the shirts. Adding metallic accents and accessories adds a uniqueness to the tops almost like the metallic luster on a stone.
